My name is Jeremy McMahan. I am a minister by calling and an avid outdoorsman by nature. In 2007 I began a non-profit service organization and to fund myself, began selling driftwood harvested from the banks of the Mighty Mississippi River.
After selling a few pieces, an antique dealer asked me to make a desk lamp out of the driftwood - it was a hit! It did not take long to begin making driftwood floor and table lamps as well as adding antler sheds to the lamps. I then began making lamps and chandeliers from antler sheds as well as a wide variety of handheld antler pieces.
I have shown my work all over the south and this website is the next step in growing my business. In addition to the pieces mentioned above, I also make any custom piece you can imagine. I have made dining room tables from large root bulbs found on the MS River banks, coffee tables from reclaimed oak trees, and end tables from American Sycamore trees. I make mesquite mantles, bodock tree mantles, natural wood serving pieces and am up to the challenge of making whatever you can dream up.
All of the wood I use is harvested from the banks of the Mississippi River. I use a variety of antler sheds from elk, whitetail, mule deer, moose, axis, and fallow deer. If a customer desires to use their own antlers, then the price is 50% less the list price.
I take great pride in the quality of my work and have a goal to leave the antlers and wood as natural as God makes it, unless stain is specifically requested by the customer. Each antler/driftwood piece is designed and built personally by me in my local workshop, and is painstakingly crafted for you, our customer.
All wiring on my antler chandeliers and antler lamps (except axis and small antlers) is run inside the antlers and all screw holes are patched and colored to look as natural as when the animal dropped them. I hope you enjoy owning my product as much as I enjoy creating them.
Also note that I am delighted to do custom work. So if you have an idea for a custom item and you don't see it in on my site, feel free to contact me to discuss your idea - no obligations just for talking about possible ideas. I am happy to build anything involving antlers and driftwood.
Please feel free to browse my website, and feel free to give me a call or send me an email with any questions you might have.
